Consider the following game played by two individuals called Row and Column. Row’s monetary payoffs are given by the first number in each cell, Column monetary payoffs are given by the second number in each cell. Left. Right Up. $10,$2. $0,$5 Down. $3,$0. $1,$0 Column is a Good Samaritan who likes money but dislikes situations in which their opponent gets nothing. On the other hand, Row is a sadist and would prefer if Column received no money. If Row and Column are clever enough they will play: Answer Up, Left. Up, Right. Down, Left. Down, Right. There is not enough information to give a proper answer. [Manage messages] |
