Question #3: Let there be n >= 3 players. If p represents a Nash Equilibrium, show that there is no maximum integer k for which pk > 0. Hint: suppose for the sake of contradiction that such a k exists. Let alpha be the mixed action profile represented by p. Show that k is not a best pure response to alpha_{k-1}; then use the support characterization. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. [Manage messages] |
