Respond to the question: Asking about a Meeting at New York?

What you are saying is abour "so-called" focal point that usually refers to characteristics of the situation not captured by the model itself. For more details, refer to Schelling (1960), "The strategy of conflict."

Okay. Here's my question: if a couple were to meet at New York, but in their excitement, forget where their meeting place is, what would the equilibium/equilibria be if the payoff matrix below gives the players' preferences?

Boy
Empire State Grand Central
Girl
Empire State 100/100 0/0
Grand Central 0/0 100/100

Likewise, how can one explain why such point/s are equilibrium/a? Lastly, how does one compare this equilibrium/equilibria to that of the basic Prisoner's Dilemma? [Manage messages]
