Ask a question about: General Equilibrium
Respond to the question: Infinitynorm fixed point algorithm?

03/21/2002 11:13 AM by Spencer Shellman; Infinity-norm fixed point algorithm
I have developed a fixed point algorithm that computes residual approximations for the class of functions that are Lipschitz continuous with constant 1 with respect to the infinity norm. The algorithm has better than exponential worst-case efficiency. I am told that such a method may be useful for solving equilibrium problems in game theory and economics. Does anyone know of important functions that may benefit from such a method? Thank you. [Manage messages]
